The organisation was started by a group of nurses who after attending a workshop on wife battering they saw a need for this service (victim empowerment), as they were troubled by the alarming number of women who were battered by their partners visiting local clinics. They then approached Rev. Tau from FAMSA for further training and assistance in starting an organisation. About Us.
